Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene

Hailing from a property in country NSW, Annabelle completed her schooling in Geelong before going on to graduate from The University of Melbourne in 2007 with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene.

As a new graduate she worked in rural and regional Victoria with the School Dental Service and also in a family-orientated private practice before taking her dental skills to the world, spending the next five years working in the UK, the Cayman Islands and Canada.

Upon her return to Melbourne, Annabelle embraced a strong interest in the diagnosis, treatment and research into periodontitis (gum disease) which is prevalent in 30% of the population. She 0assists the Maven Dental Group South Yarra team on a part-time basis, whilst also assisting another practice on Collins St alongside Melbourne’s leading periodontist, which has provided invaluable experience with dental implants and advanced gum disease.

Outside of the practice, Annabelle is a keen skier and loves to travel, often combining the two.
